In our constant "time of need."

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Brothers, what grace the Father has freely given to us! For in the past we were eternally separated from the throne due to our iniquity and stains. Now, we don't even approach such supreme majesty with timidity, shame or fear, but with confidence! With the blood of the Lamb covering our iniquities and God's imputed righteousness we may approach the holiness of the Father when He says, "Come." Now as we venture through this dark world, we can confidently run to the Father as a child in need and "receive mercy and find grace" in order to be saved from our "self." But O how many times we are like an adulterous wife embracing the lie presented to us by the evil one. There are even times when being enticed, we see the "throne of grace" calling to us... yet we submit to the darkness. Father, forgive us for forsaking such amazing grace! Brothers, WE HAVE NO EXCUSE! His grace is infinitely sufficient in our weakness. He is there "in time of need." Yet, WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED! We are simply beggars of the King, pleading with Him to offer more grace every second. Let us remain at the foot of the "throne of grace" and drink from the Fountain. How we thirst for You O God! The living God! May we hold our face to the ground before the King of kings. Embrace the Grace. Seek His face always.
